So what is Customers Garage? Thought you would never ask.  It’s all about you, the enthusiast. Published magazines just don’t have the resources to tell your story; they usually choose a very radical build up and feature them each month. They’re interesting and fun to look at but not much help to the guy’s and gals who are working on their daily drivers. We want to tell your stories; anybody from the first time builder to seasoned pros is encouraged to participate.

Here are some guidelines to help you tell your story.

NEW PROJECT STORY

-Before and after photos

Your personal story, tell us how or why you bought your project truck/SUV, how far you would like to take it, awards you have won or shows you’ve entered, club affiliations, etc. Do you have any goofy laws in your state regarding truck mods? Pass on installation tips, trick tools. If your project is a long-term, ongoing build, then keep us updated on your progress and we will update your story in the “Garage”

Installation photos. Of course our main interest is installing DJM suspension parts, but probably that’s not all your doing. Photograph the installation of all the cool upgrades (paint, wheels, stereo, interior, etc.) on your truck or SUV. Its ok to mention brand names, we want to know what works, where you had any problems, and how you got around them. Others can learn from your experience.

OLD PROJECT STORY

You may not have a “before” shot or installation photos, no problem, use the photos you have or if you’re inspired grab your digital camera and make new pictures. Tell your personal story, how or why you bought your truck, what modifications you did (not only suspension), shows you’ve entered or going to enter, awards you’ve won. Club affiliations, and like a new project story, tell us about all the modifications you’ve made. Any problems you had and how you solved them. Installation tips, cool tools, were all interested in this stuff. Basically your story is just like a new project without the install photos.
