Tie Rod Extensions for King Pin Fords

Oh My Gosh!! The Tie Rod goes right through the middle of the Radius Arm

Don’t worry, this is what you do!

It’s true, the dang tie rod runs smack through the radius arm behind the I-beam causing a real
problem if you want to modify the ride height your king pin Ford.

Here’s what you need to do! Pop the outer tie rod end from the spindle and remove from tie rod. We suggest using a vise to securely hold the tie rod while you install the DJM tie rod extender on top of the original tie rod end. Using the special thin wrench included with the extenders securely tighten the tie rod extender in place and using a new cotter pin lock the nut and you’re done. The additional height of the extender locates the tie rod in the center of the opening in the radius arm. Now you can finish your installation and set your toe and away you go.
