Description

A 3/5 kit for less than $300, all it takes is 3″ front coils and a 5″ flip kit and your in business. Now, be aware a 3″ front coil is not going to ride like factory but it rides pretty good, the alignment is right and you haven’t dropped a big load of cash!

The rear is a simple flip kit where you move the axle from beneath the leaf spring to on top of the leaf spring. No “C-section” required on your C-10 because the frame has plenty of relief built in and even though you’ve “flipped it you still have plenty of travel! Tech Tip: If your U-bolts are in bad shape, a very real possibility on a 30 - 40+ year old truck, you may consider this kit DJM2353-3/5LTD. Same as this kit with a flip kit that includes new U-bolts and leaf spring spring plates!

Both upper and lower control arms attach themselves through ball joints to the spindle. This is a cast iron part where the machined “axle” is located. The wheel bearings and brake rotors […]

Flip Kits

The first thing to get off the table regarding “flip kits” is nothing is actually flipped! Simply put a flip kit moves the axle from beneath the leaf spring to on top of the leaf spring. The devil is in the details here and how its done is very important. When you place your axle […]
