So, how can I find out which spindle I have? Probably the easiest way is to turn your steering wheel all the way to the left (drivers side), should look like the image above, find your spindle. If it is dark, a little rusty looking it is a cast iron spindle. If it is silvery or shiny it is a aluminum spindle. If you have any doubt get another opinion or ask you mechanic.
You want the Deep Drop, like in the weeds kinda drop, right? You know of course there will be sacrifices made, right. The big sacrifice here? Your four inches closer to the ground, still sporting the factory coil springs and able to set your alignment to factory specs, not much of a sacrifice! This is the deepest flip you can get for your Silverado, a whopping 7″ wow! All you need is the famous DJM pinion adjustable axle brackets, U-bolts, and spring plates with all hardware needed included and you will enjoy a full 7″ lowering. A 4/7 kit will turn heads when you drive by!
