1999 – 2006 Chevy Silverado/Sierra - 4/6 Complete Lowering Kit by DJM + Upper Control Arms

A DJM Plus Kit - including calmax upper control arms to help with pesky alignment issues!

What is the most asked for drop amount in truck lowering history? Yes, you are correct a 4/6 kit. Made famous by the 88-98 C1500, a 4/6 kit is almost a standard. Here Calmax Control Arms are used with the factory spring to drop the front 4″ and a rear axle flip kit with frame supports gets you 6″ in the rear.

This is a very noticeable drop, heads will turn and when they do they won’t see a truck bouncing down the road with tires hitting fenders and passengers holding on for life! With this kit they will see a great looking truck riding smooth with hot wheels and tires and very happy people in the cab!

The same kit as the DJM2599-4/6 PLUS Calmax Upper Control Arms DJM’s Plus kits add value to your complete suspension kit by including upper control arms. The upper arms are an option for most kits that will help nail down a good alignment and have the bonus of style so all of your suspension components have that Calmax “look”. Choosing a plus kit gives you the best deal on a complete lowering kit and if you add Calmax SuperShocks you have the best kits for the best price!

CALMAX Front Shocks

CALMAX SuperShocks are the best choice for your project. Here you can choose the correct front shock to work with these DJM parts

CALMAX Rear Shocks

In case your wondering why 2 different shock part numbers in the rear? Your factory shock mounts are staggered, one in front and one behind the rear axle, since your going to the trouble to lower why not have the optimum length shock for each side! Calmax Supershock number 1800 is for the drivers side.

Why are Complete Kits Important?

Johnny Cash wrote a song about collecting a bunch of good working parts that were not designed to work together and found it doesn’t always end well! Don’t believe me, click up there! Calmax Control Arms

Control arms or “A” arms or maybe “wishbones” are the components that attach the spindle/brake assembly to the frame. In almost every case there is an upper and lower arm. The lower arm is the big one, supporting the weight of the front end through a spring or torsion bar. The lower arm is where […]

Flip Kits

The first thing to get off the table regarding “flip kits” is nothing is actually flipped! Simply put a flip kit moves the axle from beneath the leaf spring to on top of the leaf spring. The devil is in the details here and how its done is very important. When you place your axle […]
