Prototyping the New 2015 Ford F150

We picked one of the hottest days of summer to install the first complete prototype suspension on the 2015 F150! Using everything we’ve learned building Ford kits from 1965 to now, we think this kit is as hot as the install day was!! The parts in this article were prototype parts fabricated to install and test on this 2015 SVT F150. Production parts will be developed from these first generation prototypes.

The front was dropped with Calmax Control Arms and the rear was lowered using a customized rear lowering kit. Basically moving the axle from below the leaf spring to the top of the leaf springs. Were working on production parts and instructions, will provide more detailed information soon! Stay tuned!!
