Installation Procedure
Installing DJM Dream Beams follows the same procedure as replacing factory beams. Refer to your vehicle repair manual for detailed guidelines.
Install factory sway bar end links. The sway bar may need to be moved above the bracket under the coil spring. It may be necessary to reverse the left and right brackets. Loosen the bolts holding the D-bushing. Move the plate forward until the end links stand straight up, then line drill, replace the clips, and bolt to frame.
When the installation is complete and the vehicle is on the ground, tighten end links first, then the D-bushing.
Before driving the vehicle, verify there are absolutely no clearance problems between the wheels, spindle, caliper, lower control arms, and any other component.
Coil spring length is critical for camber alignment. After installation, check camber and adjust as needed. A shim between the spring retainer and beam can correct minor negative camber. If the spring is too long causing positive camber, carefully trim the coil — do not cut too much. Allow new springs to settle before making cuts.
