Important — Read Before Installing

⚠️
Never work under a truck supported by a jack only. Use quality jack stands with a weight rating adequate for your truck.
🚫
Clearance check required. Installer must verify there are absolutely no clearance problems between the wheels, spindle, caliper, lower control arms, and any other component before driving the vehicle.
📐
Do not attempt to bend your new DJM Dream Beam to correct camber.
🌀
Factory coil springs only. Use factory coil springs only — shorter coil springs will cause excessive negative camber. Not designed for air bags.
⚙️
Coil spring length is critical for camber alignment. Factory coils may sag and cause negative camber. Depending on how much negative camber there is, you may need to replace springs or add a shim between the spring retainer and beam. If the spring is too long it will cause positive camber — you must cut some coil to shorten it. Be extra careful not to cut too much. New coil springs may settle — put some miles on the truck before cutting new springs.
🔩
Installing DJM Dream Beams uses the same installation procedures as replacing factory beams. Refer to your repair manual for guidelines. New shocks are recommended.

Installation Procedure

Install Dream Beams

Installing DJM Dream Beams follows the same procedure as replacing factory beams. Refer to your vehicle repair manual for detailed guidelines.

DB30023 & DB30033: Ball joints are pressed into the beams. DJM recommends replacing factory ball joints. Use the alignment cam from the stock beam.
Sway Bar Installation — DB30053 F350 Only

Install factory sway bar end links. The sway bar may need to be moved above the bracket under the coil spring. It may be necessary to reverse the left and right brackets. Loosen the bolts holding the D-bushing. Move the plate forward until the end links stand straight up, then line drill, replace the clips, and bolt to frame.

When the installation is complete and the vehicle is on the ground, tighten end links first, then the D-bushing.

Note: Sway bar spacer and bolts are included with DB30053 only. All other models use factory hardware.
Clearance Verification

Before driving the vehicle, verify there are absolutely no clearance problems between the wheels, spindle, caliper, lower control arms, and any other component.

Check Camber & Coil Spring Length

Coil spring length is critical for camber alignment. After installation, check camber and adjust as needed. A shim between the spring retainer and beam can correct minor negative camber. If the spring is too long causing positive camber, carefully trim the coil — do not cut too much. Allow new springs to settle before making cuts.

Never attempt to bend the DJM Dream Beam to correct camber.

After Installation

🏁
Test drive the vehicle. Double check all hardware is tight.
📐
Take your truck to a qualified alignment shop for a professional alignment. Align to factory specifications.
